Thanks for landing here.
This poem was arose from my experience of what it means to co-create offerings with plants.
It reflects this quiet shift in the way I came to know plants and how they responded to the energetic shift within myself.
There was a time when I approached them through books—learning their actions, energetics and traditional uses, especially when I first began this herbal journey.
But, somewhere along the way, they stepped beyond the pages and became companions.
As I continued making tea through relationship rather than formulation alone, I noticed something unexpected.
The plants never arrived as single, separate, individuals with herbal actions.
They gathered.
Each one carrying a different presence, a different gift, a different way of being part of the whole.
This way of making tea truly came through me as opposed to having learned it from someone or from school.
It felt like I recollected the memory of creating tea through remembering my relationship with plants.
This poem is an offering to that remembering.
To the kinship that breathes beneath all separation.
May you find yourself somewhere within this circle.
